Cedar

Our cedar is Architectural Knotty Western Red Cedar. It is kiln dried and wane free cedar. We offer a number of sizes ranging from 8′ to 20′ deck boards.

Composites

We provide you with a number of types of composite decking inlcuding: Trex, TimberTech, Gossen, Azek, CorrectDeck, and GeoDeck, among others.

Exotic Hardwoods

For those who are looking for a more natural type of decking in exotic hardwoods, we have IPE/Ironwood and Tiger decking. Each provides you with long lasting durability and unequaled beauty.

Our treated lumber is provided by Ecolife™ and comes with a lifetime limited warranty. Ecolife™ is protected with a revolutionary, non-metallic preservative plus wood stabilizer system, offering the natural beauty of real wood combined with advancements in weathering protection, fastener performance, and environmental attributes.

Custom Woodworking

The Deck & Door Company also provides our customers with custom elements to add to their deck. We offer post lighting, riser lights and custom railing options.

Our work is done on our own CNC machine that is owned and operated by our staff. This element sets us apart from most of our competition and adds some of the customers own style into their project.


Post Lights

We offer many creative post light designs. Light posts may be included to accommodate night use of your deck. These highly attractive lights softly glow a comfortable level of light perfect for evening parties. Housed in stylish wood or composite post covers, our light posts compliment and enhance your deck both by night and day.

Riser Lights

We make 12 volt custom riser lights available in Western Red cedar and several composites at any length (48″ standard with single light). We can also produce custom designs in these which can make your deck look even more unique. Building code requires all interior and exterior stairs to be illuminated in the state of Minnesota.

Railings

We offer a wide variety of railing options. We make our own custom cedar rails out of 2″x 4″ or 2″x 6″ cedar. We also have iron, aluminum, composite, cable or log railings.

Stone Posts

Our custom stone posts are extremely durable and water-resistant. The post cover utilizes an in-mold coating (IMC) process that bonds colors to the polyurethane, creating a long-lasting and virtually maintenance-free finish.
